So I had a strange urge to take a closer look at what a bee looks like up close.  They are one of these creatures that you see so often but don’t really know what they look like.  A microscope would have been useful but I don’t have one so instead my macro lens came in handy.  As you can imagine, for this task I opted to use dead subject matter.  I promise I did not kill these little fellas but instead found them on the pavement.

Anyway, I’m sure these photo won’t be to everyone’s liking but they were certainly an interesting subject matter for me to try to photograph.
