The fishing cottages along the front here at Granton Harbour and around Wardie Square really are a hidden treasure in Edinburgh. I love their characters and colours. Today I headed out to get a few photos of them in the sunshine, but the lighting wasn’t right to get a good photo along the street. That didn’t put me off and once I started wandering around I started to notice some more of the details that really gives the buildings their character. I’ve picked out these images of some of the doors. Don’t they look so welcoming.
