Bird Spotting

Today I spent an hour in Mary and George’s back garden on a deck chair cloaked in a sheet of camouflage material.  I haven’t attempted much wildlife photography before but the birds feeding in their garden were irresistible.  George kindly lent me a better lens, a mono-pod and the camouflage material before bidding me ‘good luck’.

Mostly I managed to get some snaps of Blue Tits but there was also the occasional Great Tit and Nuthatch.

I just find them so asthetically pleasing to look at.

Unfortunately I was later told that I missed a Goldfinch while I was concentrating on the Blue Tits, so I’ll be back out there tomorrow trying to add to my collection!
