I LOVE St Andrews! Four years there as a student means I have some many fantastic memories of the town.  We visit every now and again.  Yesterday, after watching much of the Royal Wedding on TV we decided to go for the afternoon.  We headed down to the cathedral to eat our lunch out of the cold wind.  I took a selection of photos of the ruins which I have decided to put in black and white to highlight the details of the crumbling brickwork.

We had a great afternoon watching some of the university’s a cappella groups singing in St Salvators Quad as part of the Royal Wedding celebrations, before flying our kite on West Sands.
