I must firstly apologise that my blog has been abandoned somewhat over these last few months – I’ve just been busy busy busy! So now the summer has rushed by and autumn has well and truly set in. I was, however, lucky enough to recently spend two weeks on annual leave in the US; firstly in New York and then in Chicago (with a little detour into Wisconsin). I’ve only been to the US once previous and never to either of these cities, so I was very excited to get over there and explore. I hope to put up a few posts from my travels, but just a quick one to get started…
In New York we stayed in Brooklyn and when investigating thing to do near to where we were staying, I read about the Brooklyn Flee Market which seems to happen every Saturday. It immediately went onto my To See/Do List. It certainly lived up to expectations – the place was buzzing, full of locals and tourists. I could have spend so much money but I mostly managed to resist. I always find Flee Markets great places to get some fun photos. Here is a little series of some collections I spied.
As I said, a few more US-based blog posts will follow.
