I just wandered into the garden to cut a few flowers to pop in a vase and brighten up the living room. I hadn’t quite realised how bountiful and bold our hydrangea had become in the last week or so; the one thing that has enjoyed our wet summer!

I rushed back out with my camera in hand. However, it’s 8PM and I couldn’t find a tripod so I’ll need to go back out tomorrow, but here are two photographs I did manage to take in the low light.
